Dr. Byeon practices all aspects of general dentistry. His philosophy lies in comprehensively helping patients achieve a balanced oral health by using modern technology and conservative techniques.
Dr. Byeon believes in giving his patient’s the ideal treatment option tailored for each individual. He is especially passionate about helping patients that present with significant discomfort as he understands how debilitating dental pain can be.
Dr. Byeon received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology with summa cum laude honors from the University of California San Diego. He pursued a career in muscular dystrophy research at a biotechnology start up before deciding to become a dentist. Dr. Byeon successfully graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Before moving back to LA, he practiced dentistry in an underserved community in the Central Coast of California. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentists, American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
In his personal time he enjoys saltwater fishing off the California Coast, taking his car to a racetrack, and trying out an easy new recipe for a weekday dinner!
