Dr. Jodie Dorj found her passion for dentistry at a very young age, having been born with a rare enamel disorder that made her teeth extremely sensitive and prone to breakage.
Frequent visits to the dental office inspired her to help others improve their oral health and achieve their best smile. From her personal experiences, Dr. Dorj deeply understands the patient’s perspective and treats everyone with compassion and empathy. Her favorite part of dentistry is meeting new people and learning about their stories and backgrounds.
Dr. Dorj grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Biotechnology at Rush University, and worked in head and neck cancer clinical research at Northwestern Medical Center. She then pursued her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, she loves spending time with her German shepherd rescues, running, and reading.
